Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban and coach Rick Carlisle were fined Friday by the NBA after they became upset with the officiating Wednesday in a 95-86 loss to Oklahoma City. Carlisle was fined $35,000 for kicking a ball into the stands with 9:34 left in the fourth quarter. He was ejected and apologized to Cuban and the fans right after the game. (Yesterday)
Derrick Rose scored 32 points to outduel Carmelo Anthony, and the Chicago Bulls beat the New York Knicks, 105-102, Thursday night at Madison Square Garden in New York. Rose had 15 in the fourth quarter and repeatedly answered when the Knicks rallied.
