Thanks for participating in the Penn State football Q&A.

Keep the questions rolling in and I will answer them throughout the season. Please remember to include your last name in submissions.

You can follow the Nittany Lions daily here as well as my new daily blog on Penn State football at PG-Plus. Membership in that site is only $3.99 per month or $36 per year.

One other thing -- my weekly live Penn State chats will take place Thursday at 11 a.m.

Q: Ron, shouldn't the concerns around Nittany Nation in regards to the quarterback situation be offset by the return of an excellent 1-2 backfield punch of Evan Royster and Stephfon Green? How do you project their seasons?

Don Stewart, Reading, Pa.

MUSSELMAN: The quarterback situation is going to be a concern no matter what until someone locks down the No. 1 spot. In order to have a balanced offense, you have to have a solid combination of passing and running. Royster and Green, if he can finally stay healthy, will only go as far as the revamped offensive line allows them. The one certainty at this point is Royster will get the 481 yards he needs to set the school's all-time rushing record.
