The West Pittsburgh Partnership kicked off a state-funded $150,000 master plan process today to reinvigorate the West End under a new brand, the West End Village.
Speaking at a reception at Artifacts, a home furnishings warehouse, the partnership's executive director, Dru Simeone, said that six months of upcoming community planning is intended to "blow wide open the doors for riverfront, housing and commercial development."
