Narcotics detectives found 1,000 stamp bags of heroin and arrested two people after searching a Carrick home on Tuesday.

Police said they purchased heroin from Dorian Dawson on Overbrook Boulevard, then watched him travel to a home in the 2200 block of Valera Street in Carrick. Detectives got a search warrant for the home and executed it about 2:15 p.m., with the help of a SWAT team.

They arrested Mr. Dawson and Donicia Shaw and seized the drugs, the cash and drug packaging materials, police said.

Both were charged with drug possession and possession with intent to deliver. Mr. Dawson was also charged with delivery.
