The Master Builders' Association of Western Pennsylvania launched a redesigned website, www.mbawpa.org. The new site provides users with a comprehensive overview of the MBA, including the latest news pertinent to the construction industry.

The Greater Pittsburgh Chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners is accepting nominations for volunteers who have made an organization an asset to the community at its annual Make the Connection Awards Gala Dinner. Tom Sipes Demolition Co. acquired the former Anchor Glass Container property in South Connellsville, consisting of 650,000 squarefeet of industrial space on 32.8 acres. Rich Gasperini, senior associate with CB Richard Ellis, brokered the sale between Tom Sipes Demolition and Anchor Glass Container Co.

Ohio Valley General Hospital's new outpatient facility at 107 Mt. Nebo Pointe Drive will host an open house from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. The outpatient facility houses the secondary branches of the hospital's Wound Care and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Center and The Institute for Pain Diagnostics and Care. The open house will feature four seminars by physicians from the new facility. At 10:30 a.m., Dr. David Provenzano from the Institute for Pain Diagnostics and Care will discuss lower and upper back pain and available treatment options. At 11:30 a.m., Dr. David Catalane from The Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center will discuss an overview of nonhealing wound treatment and hyperbaric oxygen therapy benefits. At 12:30 p.m., Dr. Samina Naseer from Pittsburgh's Primary Care Center will discuss health maintenance and preventative care. At 1 p.m., Dr. Ronald Kosonivich from The Wound Care and Hyperbaric Center will discuss podiatry wound care.

John Platt and partners have launched www.VarsityPrinting.net. The company provides consulting and contracting in the areas of print marketing collateral and direct mail.
