Colonials head to Providence

The Robert Morris men's basketball team earned a No. 15 seed in the NCAA tournament and will play Villanova, a No. 2 seed, Thursday in Providence, R.I. in first-round action.

The Colonials were a No. 15 seed last season, losing to eventual NCAA runner-up Michigan State.

Robert Morris beat Quinnipiac, 52-50, Wednesday to win its second consecutive NEC title and earn an automatic bid to the NCAA tournament.
