The Robert Morris men's basketball team used big second-half run to beat rival Mount St. Mary's 80-62 in the Northeast Conference semifinals tonight at the Sewall Center.

Robert Morris freshman guard Karon Abraham scored 19 points and senior forward Rob Robinson added 14.

The Colonials advance to play at No. 1 seed Quinnipiac Wednesday in the NEC championship game, the winner of which advances to the NCAA tournament. Tipoff is at 7 p.m., and the game will be televised on ESPN 2.

The Colonials are defending NEC tournament champions, and no team has successfully defended its title since 1994.
