West Virginia will face DePaul in Big East quarterfinals
Saturday, March 06, 2010

HARTFORD, CT -- DePaul beat Marquette, 64-54, tonight in a Big East Women's Basketball Tournament second round game at the XL Center.

That means the Blue Demons, who were the tournament's No. 7 seed, advanced to the quarterfinals tomorrow and will play No. 2 seed West Virginia at 6 p.m. The Mountaineers had a double-bye because they finished in the top four places during the regular season so tomorrow will be their first Big East tournament game.

West Virginia (26-4) beat DePaul, 64-57, in overtime on Jan. 9th but needed to make a 10-2 run at the end of regulation just to tie the game to get to overtime.
