Pitt's loss at Notre Dame last week sent it tumbling in the Associated Press poll that came out today. The Panthers fell five spots to No. 17.

There are three Big East teams in the top 10. Syracuse is the new No. 1 after the top three teams from last week lost. Villanova is No. 9 and West Virginia No. 10. One other Big East team is in the top 25. Georgetown fell to No. 19 after losing at home to Notre Dame.
