Class AAA No. 2 Chartiers Valley (21-1, 12-0) finished with an undefeated mark in Section 4 for the third consecutive season with a 88-56 rout of host Moon (12-10, 6-6). WPIAL scoring leader T.J. McConnell scored 29 points for the Colts, who have won 49 of their past 50 section contests.
Washington (17-4, 13-1) earned its second consecutive Class AA Section 5 title after defeating visiting California (15-6, 9-5), 57-37. Bryan Thomas led the fourth-ranked Little Prexies with 16 points.
North Catholic's 66-54 win at Carlynton gave the top-ranked Trojans (19-2, 13-1) the outright title in Class AA Section 4 and eliminated the Cougars (10-11, 7-7) from playoff contention. Ryan Lewis paced the Trojans with 18 points and 16 rebounds.
No. 2 Oliver (15-4, 11-2) avenged an earlier loss to No. 3 Allderdice (11-6, 8-4) by defeating the visiting Dragons, 50-43. Delvan Murray scored a team-high 15 points for Oliver, including 11 of 13 free-throw attempts. The Bears have won 10 games in a row.

Penn Hills forced the deadlock after edging visiting Woodland Hills in overtime, 53-47. Angelica Blakeman scored 14 points for Penn Hills and made 5 of 6 free throws in overtime. Oakland Catholic, Fox Chapel and McKeesport also qualified.
In a battle for the final playoff spot in Class AA Section 6, host Aliquippa (9-13, 7-5) edged rival Beaver Falls (7-15, 6-6), 41-40. Danyia Perry and Jaclyn Watkins scored 12 points apiece for the Quips.
Class AA No. 4 Seton-LaSalle (17-5) overcame a six-point deficit with 51 seconds left in regulation and went on to defeat Class AAAA No. 3 Bethel Park (16-5) in overtime, 60-55. Katie Gattuso scored 18 points for the Rebels, while Danielle McNabb led the Black Hawks with 22.
Inaya Stephenson surpassed 1,000 points for her career in Winchester Thurston's (14-7) 58-57 non-section win against visiting Westinghouse (14-7). Stephenson has scored 1,005 career points. Teammate Jimyse Brown scored her 1,000th point in the team's previous game.
