Friday, November 21, 2008

State police in Washington County confiscated about 335 pounds of marijuana from an unattended truck tractor in South Strabane yesterday afternoon.

The marijuana was discovered in the sleeper berth of a 2004 Freightliner tractor around 4:30 p.m., police said. The tractor was apparently left unattended on Route 70 eastbound at Exit 19A. It had a Florida license plate.

Police were searching for the operator of the vehicle last night.
