Dividends

F.N.B. Corp. declared a quarterly cash dividend of 24 cents per share, payable Dec. 15 to shareholders of record Dec. 1.

New Business/New Offices

First Commonwealth opened its newest location at 339 Mansfield Ave., Green Tree. A grand opening will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m., tomorrow. As part of the grand opening celebration a Turkey Bowl will be held from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. -- where children of all ages are invited to knock down pins and add as much as $100 to a Tower Savers Account.

Contracts

Prwerks Public Relations was named the agency of record for Thorley Industries and its consumer brand 4moms, which creates innovative juvenile products. Prwerks will handle national media relations to support the launch of a suite of three new products, including the world's first power folding stroller.

Elias/Savion Advertising and Public Relations was named agency of record for Columbia Gas of Pennsylvania and Columbia Gas of Maryland.

Awards/Honors

Parkvale Bank received the "Best-of-the-Best" and the Community Service Awards from the Pennsylvania Association of Community Bankers. The "Best-of-the-Best" Award was presented to select financial institutions that reached out to local citizens with helpful programs during Community Banking Week, April 7-11. The Community Service Award honored Parkvale employees who engaged in various charitable acts and supported local organizations with their time and money.

Goodwill of Southwestern PA presented Ray Devito, operator of Chick fil a, Pleasant Hills, with the 2008 Power of Work Award for outstanding efforts by employers in support of work force development.

Pittsburgh-area residents Dale Marrison and Michelle Neidhardt are among this year's eight winners of the PNC Performance Award, PNC Financial Services Group Inc.'s highest honor given to employees for significant achievement and consistently extraordinary performance. Mr. Marrison is a senior tax manager who has been with PNC for 17 years. Ms. Neidhardt is a manager who oversees several teams in PNC's National Financial Services Center.
