The Parkway East will be limited to a single lane outbound this weekend from the Edgewood-Swissvale Interchange to the Monroeville/Business Route 22 exit.

Inbound traffic will not be affected.

The restriction is to be in place from midnight tomorrow up to 9 p.m. Sunday. The outbound exit ramp to Greensburg Pike also will remain closed.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation had planned to start the restriction on the Commercial Street Bridge at the east end of the Squirrel Hill Tunnel but changed its mind because of anticipated extra traffic leaving Light-Up Night in Pittsburgh.
