A Duquesne man was shot and killed early yesterday morning outside a bar in Homewood.
The Allegheny County Medical Examiner's office identified the victim as Justin Mickens, 25. He was shot in the head in an incident outside Denise and Earl's Bar on the 7700 block of Frankstown Avenue, near the intersection with Brushton Avenue.
Police said a second man was shot in the stomach.
Correction/clarification (published Nov. 20, 2008) -- The location of Denise and Earl's Bar was given incorrectly in the original version of this story. It is located in the 7700 block of Frankstown Ave. in Homewood.
