Radio talent honored with A.I.R. Awards

The March of Dimes recognizes local radio talent with the Achievement in Radio (A.I.R.) Awards. Winners are chosen by a panel of communications professionals in other markets, and proceeds raised by the annual awards luncheon benefit the March of Dimes.

The 13th annual round of awards was given out yesterday at a luncheon at the Radisson Greentree. This year's Lifetime Achievement Award was given posthumously to a sports radio legend -- the late baseball broadcaster Bob Prince. Nellie King presented the award, which was accepted by Bob Prince III.
