Duquesne University law school's mock trial team members won the ABA National Labor and Employment Law Regional Championship in Chicago and will compete in the nationals in January, officials said.

Fourteen teams competed in the Dirksen Federal Courthouse in Chicago over the weekend and Duquesne beat the University of Illinois to advance to the Jan. 24-25 national championship in Chicago. The law students are Megan Arrington, Emily Fullerton, Tara Fertelmes and Michael Watson.

This is the third win in the past three weeks for Duquesne's mock trial teams, including a first-place finish at the National Tournament of Champions competition at the University of Maryland School of Law.
