Q: Did former Penn State quarterback Anthony Morelli make the practice squad of any NFL team? I know his family and I was rooting for him.

MUSSELMAN: No, Morelli has not yet hooked on with a practice squad. Arizona cut him last week when it reduced its roster to 53 players. He lost out to former Steelers backup Brian St. Pierre in the derby to be the Cardinals' No. 3 quarterback behind Kurt Warner and Matt Leinart. An undrafted free agent, Morelli finished 7 of 14 for 85 yards in three preseason games. He threw two interceptions and was sacked three times.
