Pirates beat Cincinnati, 6-5

CINCINNATI -- Ross Ohlendorf gave a promising first major league start tonight in the Pirates' 6-5 win against Cincinnait.

The right-hander allowed seven hits, a walk and three earned runs in six innings.

The Pirates broke a 4-4 tie in the eighth inning on run-scoring singles by Adam and Andy LaRoche.

Matt Capps pitched a perfect ninth for the second straight night and pocketed his 19th save.
