Q: Ron, is quarterback coach Jay Paterno calling any of the plays this year or does he have any input whatsoever in regards to the play calling in the running or passing game?

Bob Kefover, Uniontown

MUSSELMAN: Jay calls all of the passing plays and he has a big input in the offense, along with coordinator Galen Hall. Jay didn't need to use much of the playbook last week in the rout of Coastal Carolina, but look for Penn State to unveil a lot more Saturday against Oregon State. You could definitely see quarterback Daryll Clark make some plays with his feet this week. He only passed the ball last Saturday as Penn State kept things simple.
