The Penguins' game against the New York Rangers Jan. 18 at Mellon Arena will be televised nationally by NBC. The puck will drop at 12:30 p.m.

The Penguins are eligible to have three more games (all Sundays) picked up by NBC under the NHL's flex-scheduling plan. Versus has exclusive national rights to five games: Oct. 14 vs. Philadelphia; Nov. 11 at Detroit; Nov. 18 vs. Minnesota; Dec. 22 at Buffalo; Jan. 5 at New York Rangers.
